The City Assembly Chairman's office performs expert, advisory, organisational, administrative and technical tasks for the purposes of fulfilling the responsibilities and roles of the chairman and the deputy chairman of the Belgrade City Assembly, relating to:
- representing the Belgrade City Assembly in relations with individuals and legal entities in the country and abroad;
- coordinating work in cooperation with city municipalities, cities and municipalities in Serbia, regions and relevant authorities of the Republic;
- preparation for working and other meetings for the chairman and deputy chairman of the City Assembly;
- monitoring activities concerned with fulfilling established obligations by Belgrade City Assembly;
- coordinating activities aimed at publicising the work of the City Assembly;
- meeting with individuals who wish to directly approach the chairman and deputy chairman of the City Assembly;
- categorising resolutions and cases which relate to the chairman and the deputy chairman of the City Assembly;
- filing of documents related to the activities of the chairman and the deputy chairman of the City Assembly.
