Social welfare of the city of Belgrade is part of the social policy aimed at the improvement of social status of citizens in terms of personal, family and wider social context. The priority of social policy of the city of Belgrade is to meet existential needs of socially vulnerable, marginalized and risky citizen groups, which is achieved through practicing numerous rights and availability of different services, regulated by the Decision on rights and social welfare services, the highest normative act of the city of Belgrade in this domain.

Humanitarian organization is primarily founded to achieve more organized and successful approach of the organization members in undertaking activities of humanitarian work and providing help to socially most deprived categories of population of the Republic of Serbia.
